Recent projects...

First up, I have a finish for the Purple (and blue) months of the Scrappy Rainbow Challenge -- I think I started these blocks in 2016 and made a few more last year... and finally got them put together and quilted in January.

The pattern is Prismatic Echoes and it's free on the Robert Kaufman website; I made the same blocks but set them together in a completely different way.

Next is a little quilt made from a kit I bought on Craftsy a while back -- they called it a colorwash quilt, but I don't think it really is colorwash.  It's all Kaffe Fassett fabrics and the kit was horrible -- squares cut wonky and not on straight grain, etc.  (I complained; they blamed it on Westminster Fabrics, which does the Fassett lines, and I declined their offer of another of the kits)

And this top is from a Hunter Designs pattern called Fourteen on Point using (mostly) a FQ pack of Mini Mochi fabrics -- very quick!

Congrats! on such a lovey finish. I much prefer your rhythmic layout to the chaotic design provided son the pattern page!! That second completed quilt is pretty, too. Best of luck on quilting that last top!

Great to see a finished quilt, loos good. Too bad about the kit not being cut well. I have never bought a kit.

I love the way your "non-colorwash" quilt turned out! It's gorgeous! They are correct about it being the fault of Westminster Fibers. When I had my shop, and before I knew any better, I ordered quantity of four or five different kits. I started selling them and started getting complaints. I had to take them as returns (which I didn't mind) and ended up complaining to Westminster and returning ALL of those that I had ordered and that hadn't been returned. I learned never to order kits from them. I have to say that their jelly rolls are cut badly too. I don't think they've ever improved them, sad to say.
