I wish I'd known you were going! I would have recommended pycnogenol for the jet lag. But you have to start it several days in advance for it to fight the jet lag. Although you could probably start it now for the trip back!
(I used it when I visited my daughter in Rome in 2009, got of the plane, went to dinner, went back to her apartment and went immediately to sleep. I was on Rome time the rest of the trip.)
