Wednesday random

I don't know why, but I seem to notice stuff on sidewalks all the time. This showed up outside my favorite local coffee shop today...

Is it guerrilla quilting now?

Maybe the scissors point toward a quilt shop or it is part of a secret quilting game. The design is a rubber stamp, I have it here somewhere in the quilting/sewing/crafting abyss.

What a cool design and what a surprise to just happen upon it on a sidewalk. It'd make a great quilt label.

What the heck?! That's funny.

Just noticed your header. Kitty doing yoga? Downward cat? That's funny, too.

def guerilla quilting. look at how carefully the rectangle was lined up with the pavement

Somehow I don't think that quilt would drape very well ...

I do this too, and have seen some neat (and not so nice) things. There should be a blog for sidewalk sightings?

I love little surprises like that. I used to walk through my childhood neighborhood and look at all of the little details of the houses and yards that you couldn't see while driving. Something about being at the street level I guess...
