do you EQ?

If not, why not? I'm a huge fan -- I started with EQ5 and upgraded to EQ6 when it came out a couple of years ago. Now EQ7 is about to be released and it looks like it has a LOT of new features... can't wait!

Also exciting: Electric Quilt is offering to sponsor a giveaway on 10 blogs, starting May 3. If I get chosen as one of the bloggers, I'll be able to give away a copy of the new software and get a copy for myself. That's a win-win, right?

So check out their blog for details, and watch this space!

Ii don't EQ because I have a Mac; instead I use Quilt-Pro, which when I was shopping for a program was the only one that ran on Macs. It's more limited, but not bad. Some people don't seem to be able to figure EQ out, although apparently the new version are easier. So I've heard, anyway.

Good luck! I hope you win!

I used to love EQ but I have a MAC and will never go back to a virus laden PC again.
So until they get a program for the MAC, I'm out of luck :(

I bought EQ but I don't EQ! I found that I am better with a rough idea in my head and then designing intuitively with the fabric in my hands. If I design with EQ then all I am doing is making again what I made on screen and I get bored!

Hi! Yes, I'm way behind. ;-)

I own a copy of EQ, but never learned how to use it and actually have no freakin' clue what it can do. I'm also on a Mac, although we do have PCs in the house, I don't use them. It's somewhat tempting to find a very inexpensive PC to use just for my crafty stuff, but that sounds like more of a pain than it's worth.

I've always been curious about EQ (hence the purchase), but I've never used it. What a waste!
