I'm knitting circles around you!

Another pair of socks finished, and they are sooo comfortable! These are Circle Socks -- free pattern on Ravelry -- made from Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock yarn. The texture pattern is amazingly easy to do.

I have several ideas for my next pair, but I need to look at the pictures again before I decide. I've been planning to jump into the Cat Bordhi book for a while now but I think I like doing top-down socks better than toe-up... we'll see!

I really like those. You're making me want to knit socks and I have some sock yarn that would be great for those.

If you want to take a hack at New Pathways, don't hesitate to email/PM me with questions. I love that book, but it takes a bit to wrap your mind around it. I strongly suggest that you either start with a master pattern (using your own numbers) or start with one of the patterned socks where your numbers match the pattern numbers. It's much easier to figure out how the socks work when you aren't trying to jigger numbers around while trying to figure out the socks.

Your LLSS socks look great!

Your socks are great. I like the pattern. They look softer, not so tight at the top, more comfortable.

I love your socks and the yarn color is lovely too. I might have to try that pattern, but it will have to wait. Just started a new pair of socks tonight!!

Finally catching up on all my bloglines posts, Julie, and I really love those Circles socks. Remember that brightly colored yarn we each bought at Piedmont Yarn? Do you think the color runs are long enough to be effective with this pattern? They've been in my queue for a long time, but I never saeem to have just the right yarn. I'd love each circle to be mostly one color...

I started socks after seeing yours last year - and now I'm on my 4th pair! a bit addicting, though.
