you're expecting quilts? how about sex, instead?

Seems like I've been occupied with swappy things lately, and there's not much interesting to show. Some string blocks for a small group swap, some color blocks for Margaret's swap, some block lotto baskets, a couple of birthday blocks...

I keep saying I'm going to stop doing block swaps because I'm usually bad about doing anything with the blocks afterwards, but then I get sucked in again! I really, really want to finish up a couple of my own projects and I'm hoping to have a good long stretch of time to dive into them this weekend.

In the meantime, here's something completely different -- I recently read an article from a 6-month-old New Yorker magazine about a series of short films that Isabella Rossellini made for Sundance Channel about the sex lives of various animals. Series 1 was mostly bugs and Series 2 is sea creatures. Each is about 2 minutes long, and you can see them all here: green porno . I know it sounds perverse, but they are amusing and informative, and some of the "costumes" are fabulous! Rossellini is wonderful, too.

If we can't have quilts, sex is a fine alternative.

Word Verification -- and I kid you NOT -- is hopart, which is prolly somehow connected to those aforementioned bunnies and what THEY are doing in your garden that is resulting in yet more bunnies ....
